Natural Ingredients

Below is a general list of ingredients that we use for our formulas of natural deodorant. Please refer to individual listing for the essential oils used for each scented formula.

  • Organic Sweet Almond oil

    Sweet Almond oil contains a number of vitamins: A, B1, B2, B6 and E. Due to Sweet Almond's properties the oil has a number of natural benefits that are commonly known to nourish and moisturise the skin and relieve those who suffer from eczema. Vitamin E is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants that naturally combat the emergence of free radicals and other damaging elements in the skin.

  • Cocoa Butter

    This rich butter is a common ingredient in skincare products and cosmetics because of its potent therapeutic properties. For centuries, people in Africa have turned to cocoa butter to protect,  heal and moisturise their skin that is exposed to the harsh elements of sun and wind. Cocoa butter is rich in antioxidants including oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. These fatty acids are great for your skin, as they provide a layer of protection from skin stressors and free radicals.

  • Bergamot Essential Oil

    Sweet and relaxing elements,  skin-cleansing properties. Bergamot promotes skin regeneration and is lauded for its skin renewal and brightening properties. In addition, it encourages blood circulation in the dermis layer and the even distribution of melanin (dark pigment) for a healthy, unblemished complexion

  • Grapefruit Essential Oil

    Anti-oxidant, excellent for skin,  fresh, zesty aroma that is energizing and uplifting. Rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene, it is good for skin and has unique detox characteristics

  • Unrefined Shea Butter

    Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. Shea butter is high in vitamins A, E, and F, provides collagen (to assist prevention of skin aging & wrinkles), and contains essential fatty acids. Raw and unrefined shea butter is high in vitamins A and E and is incredibly soothing for your skin.

  • Basil Essential Oil

    Basil Essential Oil emits a warm, sweet, freshly floral and crisply herbaceous scent that is further characterized as airy, vibrant, uplifting, and reminiscent of the scent of licorice. It is reputed to nourish, repair, balance, calm, smoothe, exfoliate, and brighten the complexion of skin.

  • Lemon Essential Oil

    High in anti-oxidant, eliminate odors, strong, clean, purifying citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting

  • Lavender Essential Oil

    Anti-bacterial, relaxing, blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calming properties.

  • Cypress Essential Oil

    Fresh, herbaceous, slightly evergreen aroma which refreshes, restores, and tones

  • Geranium Egypt Essential Oil

    Geranium essential oil is also used to promote emotional stability, alleviate pain, stimulate healing from burns and wounds, enhance mood, and reduce inflammation.

    It is excellent for skin; used by the Egyptians to promote beautiful, radiant-looking skin

  • Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

    Contains lauric acid, which is very good at killing odor-causing bacteria due to its wonderful antibacterial properties.

  • Lemongrass Essential Oil

    Lemony scent, fresh, invigorating and uplifting. Lemongrass is used as a natural remedy to heal wounds and help prevent infection. It has antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. 

  • Candelilla Wax

    Can-deh-lee-ya wax is a “vegetable” wax that is obtained from the Euphorbia cerifera botanical, better known as the small, wild Candelilla shrub.

    It is an effective binding agent that easily fuses ingredients and is reputed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks as well as the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and age spots.

  • Frankincense Essential Oil

    Is excellent for skin, has a woody and an earthy, uplifting aroma that’s perfect for grounding and spiritual connectedness, maintain the appearance of radiant skin. Its astringent and cytophylactic qualities help Frankincense oil to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin imperfections such as discoloration. It stimulates the growth of new cells, thus when used on cuts it promotes faster healing.

  • Tea Tree Essential Oil

    Tea Tree Essential Oil is a powerful, antiseptic immune system stimulant that is beneficial for eliminating bacteria, viruses, and fungi.  It can treat wounds, provide soothing relief for aches, pains, and congestion, promote a sense of calm, and disinfect surfaces. The fresh, slightly medicinal, camphor-like scent of this oil has been likened to the fragrance of Eucalyptus

  • Baking Soda

    Bicarbonate soda is one of the most effective ingredient for eliminating acidic oder-causing bacteria. It can raise the pH of an environment (sweaty armpit is acidic), thus makes the area inhospitable to bacteria.

  • Vitamin E

    Vitamin E is a nutrient your body needs to support your immune system and help your cells to regenerate. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that make getting enough essential to your everyday health.
